I visited the golden temple in Amritsar today.

The place is absolutely stunning but having a chance to see and eat at the biggest community kitchen of the world was insane.

It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that everything is free for everyone. No religion, no status, no background needed. Just walk in. Eat. Be welcomed. And most of it runs purely on volunteers.

Standing in that atmosphere, watching millions be fed with zero expectation in return… it’s honestly a very inspiring things to witness.

How is this scale even possible?

मैं पिछले लगभग एक महीने के करीब से हस्पताल में भर्ती हूं और किड़नी की समस्या से जूझ रहा हूं।
परसों सुबह से मैं ठीक था लेकिन आज फिर से मुझे ICU में शिफ्ट करना पड़ा। मेरी हालत बहुत गंभीर होती जा रही है।
मैं रहूं या ना रहूं इसलिए अपने देशवासियों को सच्चाई बताना चाहता हूं-

जब गवर्नर के पद पर था तो उस समय मुझे 150-150 करोड़ रूपए की रिश्वत की पेशकश भी हुई परंतु में मेरे राजनीतिक गुरु किसान मसीहा स्वर्गीय चौधरी चरणसिंह जी की तरह ईमानदारी से काम करता रहा ओर मेरा ईमान वो कभी डिगा नहीं सकें।
**जब मैं गवर्नर था उस समय किसान आंदोलन भी चल रहा था, मैंने बग़ैर राजनीतिक लोभ लालच के पद पर रहते हुए किसानों की मांग को उठाया।
**फिर महिला पहलवानों के आंदोलन में जंतर-मंतर से लेकर इंडिया गेट तक उनकी हर लड़ाई में उनके साथ रहा।
**पुलवामा हमले में शहीद वीर जवानों के मामले को उठाया, जिसकी आज तक इस सरकार ने कोई जांच नहीं करवाई है।
सरकार मुझे CBI का डर दिखाकर झूठे चार्जशीट में फंसाने के बहाने ढूंढ रही है। जिस मामले में मुझे फंसाना चाहते हैं उस टेंडर को मैंने खुद निरस्त किया था, मैंने खुद प्रधानमंत्री जी को बताया था इस मामले में करप्शन है और उन्हें बताने के बाद में मैंने खुद उस टेंडर को कैंसिल किया, मेरा तबादला होने के बाद में किसी अन्य के हस्ताक्षर से यह टेंडर हुआ।
मैं सरकार को और सरकारी एजेंसियों को बताना चाहता हूं कि मैं किसान कौम से हूं, मैं ना तो डरने वाला हूं ओर ना ही झूकने वाला हूं।
सरकार ने मुझे बदनाम करने में पुरी ताकत लगा दी, अंत में मेरा सरकार से ओर सरकारी एजेंसियों से अनुरोध है कि मेरे प्यारे देश की जनता को सच्चाई जरूर बताना कि आपको छानबीन में मेरे पास मिला क्या?
हालांकि सच्चाई तो यह है कि 50 साल से अधिक लंबे राजनीतिक जीवन में बहुत बड़े-बड़े पदों पर देशसेवा करने का मौका मिलने के बाद आज़ भी मैं एक कमरे के मकान में रह रहा हूं ओर कर्ज में भी हूं। अगर आज मेरे पास धन दौलत होती तो मैं प्राइवेट हॉस्पिटल में इलाज करवाता- सत्यपाल मलिक (पूर्व गवर्नर) #satyapalmalik
