However, I would still write it as Gurpurab. The textbook’s comment about tea however is ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਬਕਵਾਸ !

Today Scottish Sikh political prisoner Jagtar Singh Johal reaches 1800 days imprisoned in India. He has still not been formally charged with any crime. The United Nations and a UK Prime Minister have agreed his imprisonment is "arbitrary".
