@zaynhasn@Azeem_Majeed Trying to organise a plt these days is near impossible. Locally being advised any cover has to have access to our systems reception needs to stay open and we need to deal with script requests. No idea how to navigate this for the good of my practice...
What are the bma actually doing re unlimited uncapped access to primary care - nearly a month has gone on from the ballot and we are drowning as practices with endless online requests vs no capacity increasing by the day.
@KemiBadenoch Was starting to respect your eloquence and opposition but you started this doctor subsitution and patients have paid the price. I assume you plan to continue your parties doctor subsitution agenda and back door privatisation rather than restore pay and improve care.

@wesstreeting do you have anything to say about the derisory contract offer for GP? We are about to collapse accross the board with this offer leading to probably the systematic tory driven collapse of the nhs.
@RobynJ85 GP as we know it is finished based on this. We will all go bankrupt in the upcoming april costs unless as you say we lay off as many as possible worsening our already overstretched services. This government see us with nothing but contempt.
@dr_irfan_malik @EMISHealth @TPP_SystmOne Emis is atrocius in terms of crashes. We have been continually fobbed off without answers from support. Have applied locally to move to s1 but told the earliest we can implement this is march 2024. This week has almost been non functional for us with continuous crashes.
@thesalariedGP @RestoreGPUK@ABarotchi1 For years we have been held to ransom by the lack of availability of a salaried workforce...because it is easier to locum for more money and less responsibility beyond the shift. Post cct most choose locum over salaried. Maybe we need to rethink why.
@thesalariedGP @RestoreGPUK@ABarotchi1 Is it not a good thing locum choices are disappearing? Maybe practices might have more salaried gps in the market as a result. ARRS are supernumery but if i can as a partner afford & get a salaried gp I would go for it.
@DrEmmaNash Agree totally. Locally we are being told all letters to expedite are to be reviewed by a&g yet bookings repeately tell patients to ask us for a letter to expedite. The system is a wreck and we pay the brunt of the patients disatisfaction as a result.
@Emmajourno Diabetics well established on treatment will suffer as a result of poorly thought out health strategies here leading to higher cvd and huge burdens of work in gp to negotiate and switch to less effective therapies.
Outstanding junior doctor blamed her suicide on t @uhbtrust
In her final note, writes ""I am sorry mum, I can blame the whole thing on the QEH."

The NHS is completely BROKEN
It WASNT broken by COVID/Ukraine/inflation(*delete excuse)
It was broken by deliberate CHOICES to break it
RT if you want this/next government to make CHOICES to properly fund the NHS, reward its staff & provide better healthcare for UK population
