π₯ BREAKING: New Investigation Confirms "Thailand Broke International Law"
For months, the world treated the border conflict as "mutual blame." Now, a major investigation by The New York Editorial reveals the hard truth: While Cambodia may have lit the match, Thailand burned down the neighborhood.
The report, backed by international data, exposes how a border dispute was turned into an illegal war to win an election in Bangkok.
Key findings that every Cambodian needs to know:
Disproportionate Force: When a landmine injured one soldier, Thailand responded with F-16 fighter jets and airstrikes. The report calls this "wildly disproportionate."
Illegal Weapons: The investigation confirms Thailand used cluster munitionsβweapons banned by most of the worldβwhich tragically took the life of 10-year-old Sern Sovann in Preah Vihear.
Psychological Warfare: The report documents how Thai forces blasted "wailing ghost sounds" and funeral music at 3:00 AM into our villages to terrorize sleeping children.
Political Games: The evidence suggests the Thai government used our border and our lives as a campaign strategy to win their election.
The Hard Truth:
The report is fairβit does not let our side off the hook. It highlights how the scam compounds and political decisions in Phnom Penh created the conditions for this crisis.
But the conclusion is clear: Creating a crisis is bad. Waging an illegal war against civilians is worse.
π As of today, nearly 98,000 of our people are still displaced.

Dear Indian friends:
Please reconsider traveling to Thailand. Hindu heritage on Cambodian land has been destroyed, while Cambodia continues to honor Hinduism through its ancient temples.
Why support a country that disrespects your faith?
CCTV footage shows a terrifying chaotic scene of kids fleeing a primary school after a Thai military T-50 fighter jet unleashed four bombs in Banan district, Battambang province, at approximately 10 a.m. on December 24, 2025.
Students rushed to catch their bicycles and motorbikes to get home from school after Thai fighter jet dropped bombs near Phnom Sampov, a popular tourist destination in Battambang province.
βIt is certainly a strong possibility that the Thai army and possibly the monarchy wanted to restart the border conflict to help pro-military and pro-monarchy partiesβ writes @JoshKurlantzick

Thailand just bombed five minutes from where 1 am.

More than 40,000 civilians are in this area.
Over 10,000 people have already been displaced, fleeing their homes-only to discover that even safe places are no longer safe.
What happens when safety disappears?
It is Christma
@zxcer003@panhaneath157 Thatβs civilian area.π Law of military jet, it can be use only inside the land of user border, not crossing border. Please search for that.
When you said action in July, how about when Thai soldier kill one of Khmer soldier in June?
#Thailand is lying to the world, claiming that Cambodia invaded them, while pretending to be the victim πΏ. Just thinking:
'' No victim would go dancing and celebrating while the enemy is invading. ''

Thai influencer Manassatian Luprasert published a manipulated image depicting President Donald J. Trump being violently drop-kicked in the face by a Thai soldier. The post received over 122,000 positive reactions.
This is not humor or satire. It is the promotion of political violence against a sitting U.S. president.
The United States and Thailand trade approximately $88 billion annually and maintain long-standing security and defense cooperation. Publicly glorifying violence against the leader of a strategic partner is reckless and damaging to bilateral relations.
This does not represent all Thai people, but it does reflect a serious failure to condemn extremist content from influential voices.
Given the nature of the image and the scale of engagement, the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Secret Service should review and investigate this matter to determine whether it constitutes a threat, incitement, or coordinated disinformation targeting the President of the United States.
Silence sends the wrong message.
Political violence must be rejected.
Allies must hold influencers accountable.
Respect between nations matters.
