Thank you to all who shared and supported our proposal. We successfully met all three xGov metrics for total vote count, total xGov participation, and approval rating—the xGov proposal for our monitoring enhancements has passed, pending council approval.

The ALGO received will help cover our long-term operating costs and keep the account online and maintained.

On another note, I believe we should continue encouraging transparency from @AlgoFoundation while working together to preserve the future this ecosystem deserves and build amazing things.

It’s clear there are mixed feelings about the constant, unannounced, on-chain activities we see month after month. It’s important to recognize that operating the chain and supporting the people behind it comes with real costs. At the same time, the community values transparency around significant internal decisions and developments whenever possible. Finding that balance benefits everyone, and I know it’s something we’ve struggled with for a long time.

This isn’t a call for outrage or division—it’s simply a reminder to stay aware, ask questions, and continue encouraging transparency in a constructive way whenever possible.

Regardless, I’m optimistic about what #Algorand has to offer and the progress we’ve seen so far. There are so many problems that haven’t been solved yet, so many things that haven’t been built, and so much talent yet to be discovered.

Continue expressing yourself, building cool “sh*t”, and sharing your ideas and opinions. You only stop making an impact when you become silent and idle.
