Seventy-eight lives are safe today.

But the conditions they were living in before are difficult to comprehend.

When our Animal Law Enforcement team arrived at a home in Lancaster County yesterday, they were met with overwhelming heat, dangerously high ammonia levels, and rooms filled with waste, debris, and trash stacked from floor to ceiling.

The air was harsh, but officers spent hours working through those physically demanding conditions to ensure every animal could be found and brought to safety.

Hidden throughout the home were 78 Ragdoll cats and kittens.

Some were frightened. Some were sick. All were living in conditions no animal should ever have to endure.

With the assistance of the Lancaster Township Police Department, our team carefully removed every cat from the property.

Today, they are receiving forensic examinations, medical care, nutritious food, clean bedding, and something many of them may not have experienced in a very long time - relief.

They are not available for adoption at this time, but soon so many lives will have a chance at a brighter future in those forever, loving homes.

This June, the Pennsylvania SPCA turns 159 years old. Since 1867, we have been showing up for animals in the hardest conditions, on the hardest days. If you'd like to help us continue that legacy, there's no better way than helping these 78 cats right now. Our Day of Giving is June 22, but these animals need care today.

Every single word of this is spot on...

"Here you have a top psychiatrist saying the only reason you would get three or four of these tests is because there's obviously a decline and you're tracking how f*cking fast the decline is happening. What the f*ck? Oh my god. I'm sorry, bro," said Kulinski, whose Youtube channel "Secular Talk" has 2.26 million subscribers and counting.

He was referring to the fact that Trump is constantly bragging about acing an incredibly simple cognitive test. It's a nonstandard thing for a perfectly healthy person to do and Trump keeps going back to take it again and again for some unexplained reason. The only rational explanation is that his doctors are worried that his mind is deteriorating. And judging by his increasingly incoherent, confused public remarks, they're right to worry.

"Our news environment and our information environment is so thoroughly f*cking broken that like this is I mean, I just I feel like this is not gonna go anywhere," he continued. "Nobody's gonna talk about this. Nobody's gonna do anything."

"It's just like the President is actually sundowning right in front of our eyes and like people are just sitting there watching it happen!" Kulinski said. "By the way, as I've told you a thousand times, there's gonna be the exposés that are gonna come out, the tell-alls that are gonna hit the shelves. After the Trump era is over, after Trump is dead and gone, after all the f*cking little disgusting sycophants around him are trying to save any relevance they have, the speed with which they will tell you everything they know is gonna be astonishing."

"Like this is what's gonna happen..." he continued. "We're gonna learn one day that like we literally let an absolute madman run roughshod over our Constitution and our country with no consequences whatsoever and we all just sat there cucked by him, right? We all just sat there and said, well, it is what it is. What can I do to stop it? It is gonna be a nightmare when we learn the depths of the depravity and how much he's able to get away with."

Mark his words well. When Trump is finally gone and his stench has been fumigated from the White House, everyone who enabled him will pretend that they were against him all along. His closest allies will rush to sell books detailing the most deranged and dangerous things thatthey saw behind closed doors.

When that happens, we can't allow them to mount their rehabilitation campaigns. Every politician and media figure who helped this President despoil, destroy, and loot our country must be ostracized from polite society for the remainder of their miserable, self-serving lives.

While Trump's own financial disclosures show him trading stock in companies his administration then hands billion-dollar contracts to, Don Jr.'s SHADY investment connections to Pentagon contractors receive almost NO scrutiny from mainstream media.

"Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5 billion in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted." Also TRUE, but that story got almost NO coverage.

And then Hunter Biden delivered the punchline that lands like a sledgehammer: "And I know: 'But what about your paintings, Hunter?'"

HUNTER IS 100% RIGHT: His art sales, laptop, and legal troubles consumed years of breathless media coverage. The Trump children's CORRUPT overseas business deals, foreign investments, Pentagon contracts, and connections to Jeffrey Epstein's associates a free pass.

And while Jake Tapper attacks Jill Biden is being attacked for a book, Jared Kushner is bulldozing protected wetlands for a $4 billion resort while his father-in-law runs foreign policy, while raising BILLIONS from shady deals with foreign governments.

There has never been anything in America like 60 Minutes.

The Sunday tradition is the most successful program of any kind in history. For more than a decade, its innovative growth on every major online platform has extended its reach to countless millions around the world. This spring, at the end of our 58thseason, 60 Minutes grew rapidly with an unheard-of 9% jump in viewers on CBS.

“60” has been the number-one program in America for decades because our beloved audience finds integrity, quality, and humanity in our stories. When stewardship of the program passed to my colleagues and me, our responsibility was to expand energetically into a new age of media technology while preserving the values our audience expects. Now, the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside, apparently to curry a moment of favor with the Trump administration.

The waste is heartbreaking.

Last month, 60 Minutes lost its DNA when our entire senior leadership and two of our best on-air correspondents were cruelly fired without cause. Good people were silenced because they stood up for our audience. They stood for fairness against the forces of political bias; they stood for professionalism against chaos.

For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done. Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.

At 60 Minutes, we have fought harder than anyone knows to save the program that became an American icon. We owed that to our millions of viewers. I am deeply moved by the thousands of wishes we have received to “keep up the good fight.” Most of the men and women of CBS News are still in that fight. But now the collapse of values at the top has become untenable. The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable. The principles I hold dear are gone, and so I must leave as well.

I depart after 37 years at CBS with one emotion—a heart brimming with gratitude for the men and women of CBS News who encouraged and enriched my work, very often at the risk of their own lives. I pray for a day when those people and their ideals are honored again—a day when sanity, competence, and courage return.
