Heath Howard, DSA candidate for NH-01, on why he supports a one state solution for Israel-Palestine
"A traditional two-state solution will not work. Splitting the land along ethno-religious borders will not yield peace.
In a partitioned system, Palestinians would remain second-class citizens, permanently denied their fundamental right to return to the homes from which their families were expelled during the Nakba.
The only just path forward is a single, secular, democratic state with universal rights for all people in the region."
I don't personally consider myself to be a socialist and consider some of the DSAs policies to be nonsensical at best, but I am more than happy to support socialists if it means finally forcing economic populist policies into the government.
We cannot afford to lose this chance.
I'm a proud democratic socialist, but that doesn't mean I agree with the entire DSA platform. I'm running to create permanent affordability for working families in Wisconsin.
@Timodc Riiiiiiiiight it's not a coincidence at all that Haley Stevens started to "grow on you" and grow on a bunch of other influencers all at the same time.
We're not stupid Tim. We have eyes.
Bernie Sanders' influence is growing in the Democratic Party, but leaders fear his primary meddling could hurt Democrats in the midterms.
Rep. Gregory Meeks: "He seemed to not care."
