@misterpatches RDJ. I think Cruise is a bigger movie star - owns his roles whereas Marvel actors are beholden to the characters. But if we differentiate between stardom (power, creative control, off-screen celebrity) and fame (# of eyes on them, dollars made) it’s RDJ.

@joelevard @misterpatches I think this is the one - maybe Cruise of DiCaprio surpass RDJ in the *Western Hemisphere* (and that’s a big maybe) but Marvel is universally popular globally in a way that these US blockbusters e.g., MI/Tarantino/etc. can’t shake a stick at.
