A bill was passed, overwhelmingly, then signed into law. It was unanimously upheld 9-0 by SCOTUS. There is a statutory deadline explicitly laid out. An executive order can’t override that. If Trump can broker a deal to bring TikTok back under non-CCP leadership, great. But the law is the law. Banning a CCP espionage and propaganda app was the obviously correct decision.
