@Jessg85 @muttley911 @AndrewPeacock80 @MissHudsonHist Everyone who thinks it is a good pension has not checked out how much they will receive. My hubby ( same age - not a teacher - roughly same wages for much of past) is due to receive a pension that is more than TWICE mine.
Before anyone thinks career break... I didn't have one 😭

Your comments are not based on facts. I am at the point of taking my pension. I have made contributions for 30 years. I pay a very high percentage of my monthly salary to my pension. The pension I will receive is so low I will be unable to live!

@felpetai @popemaths And where did this walking out come from? 25 years of teaching….NEVER had a child walk out, EVER. Since covid that seems to be a popular thing amongst poorly behaved teens. They seem to think daft videos posted to the internet are providing instructions on classroom behaviour.
