My robot project is advancing. In my recent blog article, I explain how to translate #ROS movement messages to actual, physical movements using #Python. Read more: https://t.co/r2KoaLwJyK

My book "A Concise Introduction to Robot
Programming in ROS2" (CRC Press) progresses. Just received the proof readed text, and I will send it back in a few days. It is scheduled for August'22
I see it already on several platforms:

Are you a student interested in working with Open Robotics this summer on #ROS and #Gazebo?
We are seeking a handful of Google Summer of Code students for this year's program. You can find our project list here:

I find many Python developers using format() to build strings.
format() is much harder to read in comparison with f-strings. Look at the difference between url1 and url2 in the attached image.
Understanding how f-strings work is an immediate improvement to your skills.
Hardware acceleration in robotics news, issue 3. Read about hardware-accelerated ROS 2 Pipelines, the #Robotic#Processing#Unit, @Arm claims about heterogeneous compute architectures and more.

Honestly, I am teaching robot navigation in two grade courses, in #ROS and #ROS2, respectively, letting me compare simultaneously. #Nav2 has more functionality by large. With all due respect, Behavior Trees enables you to personalize navigation in ways impossible to #move_base
