Passengers flying to India clear Nepal’s security, yet still face an additional check by Indian airlines. I find this deeply humiliating, not because of the extra few minutes, but because of what it says about trust in our institutions and our national dignity. Past governments allowed it. Will any government have the courage to respectfully end it?

One incident 26 years ago should not justify this forever. Security incidents have happened across the world. For me, this is now about sovereignty, mutual respect and trust. Other countries trust Nepal’s security system, why not India? Or is there something more to it? @hello_sarkar
