@Lueras4Joseph@sming01 The UNLV vs Idaho State game last year has me very skeptical. Everyone has a dud but that was a top MWC program in a deeper conference last year. UTEP with a top 10 pace offense in the dome, no spread will be enough to not bet over.
@Lueras4Joseph@sming01 Not sure the talent gap on the lines is huge, but style of play will be an issue for the MWC. It’s not a fluke Eck came into UNM with a similar style and turned the program around in a year. Teams that play quick with soft defenses will have issues especially in the dome.
@SchlossmanGF@JakeHendricks09@PaulJJarvis I vividly remember trying to sneak a fastball past a Hafner and was advised by a coach, if we want that one back someone is going swimming. Obviously the 30ft wall in right to protect traffic was no match for a 15 year old farm boy.
@CPoolReporter@HEROSportsNews I would have MAC schools in the top 3. If their new media deal is looking bad next year the NIU blueprint is going to look good. Toledo, Ohio, and Miami, would get the offer before an FCS school.
@Phantele_ Also bullish on TSJ getting used as a secondary playmaker. Taking some of the point Randle minutes and not forcing too much volume on Jaden.
@IceBorg 10 wins is a stretch, but they got some favorable scheduling from the MWC. UNLV hosts Cal before our game, New Mexico is flying back from Hawaii before our game, and we have a bye before going to Hawaii. All away games but with favorable setups.
Not sure about a stronger prospect, but the development time in the program is very different 5 yrs vs 2 yrs. Trey also had the benefit of playing with multiple NFL OL players and NFL TE. Both had a future NFL WR, though, but Watson was younger than Bryce. In theory, Cole has about the same playing time but with less help. The biggest difference is price, in no universe will you need to spend a first-round pick to find out, so to me Cole feels like the better value. Cole will probably test off the charts in the combine, though, so he might get more expensive, but nowhere near Trey.
@WHENESOTA I'm ready for the blowout when we get a full 8 mins of Connely, Slowmo, and Ingles in garbage time. Could be the best basketball all season.
@PatGarofalo Totally agree, and home health care services are going to lead the way. I've never seen so many 2x,3x,4x growth companies in my life. The number of new employees needed to support the total growth over the last 5 years would be the size of a small city.
