@RoryStewartUK@RestIsPolitics Very sad, especially when you consider that a Brit working for EMI (Godfrey Hounsfield) shared the 1979 Nobel Prize for his part in developing the diagnostic technique of X-ray computed tomography (CT).
@carolecadwalla The whole map of USA has been changed … but as the deluge subsides and the waters fall short we see the dreary steeples of BREXIT emerging once again.
@RBS_Help
I am locked out of my account. Made three calls to the Fraud number (0800 1615165); first call was over 30 mins; second call 50 mins; third call 55 mins. On the phone again now. Nobody is answering. Appalling. What is going on RBS?

Have you ever been inspired to visit a place that features in the lyrics of a song?
Where have you been inspired to go?
What did you learn after visiting?
Place: Saginaw
Song: Simon and Garfunkel ‘America’
Lyric: ‘It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw’
What I learned: it may be different now, but back in c1990 it seemed a city going through hard times. I can understand why it was a place from which to ‘look for America’.
@theAliceRoberts Captain Pugwash had a few which may be appropriate:
"Suffering seagulls!"
"Staggering stalactites!"
"Nautical nitwits!"
"Plundering porpoises!"
"Kipper me capstans!"
"Tottering turtles!"
"Dithering dogfish!"
"Scuttling cuttlefish!"
"Stuttering starfish!"
"Blistering barnacles!"
