@CanesDavid I remember ct head scan requests having anatomical brain drawings on them and the requesting doctor was required to mark where, in the brain, they expected to find pathology. Concentrated the thought process!
On Saturday 15 August 2026 members of Free From Fear and some special guests will be taking on the Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Free From Fear.
Our charity was recently approached by members of the Special Forces, who asked for our assistance in helping a small number of their most trusted interpreters out of a region marred by conflict.
We have been working on these cases for some time, engaging with the government and supporting the individuals through pro bono legal representation to ensure they can travel to the UK through legal routes. Thanks to these efforts, we have already successfully helped one interpreter reach safety.
Please help us fundraise to get the remaining individuals out. Each of them holds a degree in English Literature and has provided invaluable frontline support during numerous operations, often working alongside British personnel in highly challenging and dangerous circumstances.
Your donation will help cover the costs associated with their relocation and legal processes, giving these individuals the opportunity to rebuild their lives in safety. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Free From Fear is a registered UK charity (Charity Commission No. 1199297), led by three lawyers who receive no salary and run the charity entirely pro bono, ensuring that donations have the greatest possible impact.

@Mr_Andrew_Fox If we cannot put any faith in a UN report, who can we believe?
I understand that both sides will try to paint the other in as negative way as possible & finding truth is incredibly difficult, but I have to say that I havenโt seen any post of yours that Mossad would disagree with
@Johnrashton47 So 4 medical schools use the Geneva declaration and some other medical schools use a hotch potch of others. Exactly how you determine the quality of a medical school is not clear, but to base it on their use of the Geneva declaration is a pretty shoddy argument.
@Johnrashton47 The Hippocratic oath is an ancient irrelevance which most doctors have never signed. Patients interests are served by a well educated and well motivated workforce who believe that their vocation is of value and is valued.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox@EthanLevins2 Which clearly makes it entirely appropriate.
Is there anything which the Israeli armed forces have done which you think is not reasonable?
Britain has the dirtiest rivers, the most expensive energy, the least reliable trains, the most overcrowded prisons, the worst access to healthcare and the widest gap between rich and poor in all of Europe. If you want a verdict on 40 years of neoliberalism, there it is.
@rbarbosa91@nihardesai89 And there are loads of rare diseases so that the chance of coming across one is reasonably high, you just canโt predict which rare disease
