I have more faith in LaMelo to stay healthy and adapt his game than Embiid.

McDaniels/Gobert give Minny a stronger defensive foundation.

I have more faith in Minny’s depth. I think it’s a better playing style fit with fewer high usage guys.

The Timberwolves are the best basketball fit for LeBron James.

C: Gobert / Beringer
F: LeBron / Green
F: McDaniels / Shannon
G: Edwards / Dosunmu
G: LaMelo / Hyland

That's a filthy 10-man rotation. Everyone in the rotation besides the centers can create their own shot. They'd basically be upgrading Conley with LaMelo and Randle with LeBron. With Zikarsky, Evans, Clark, and Pullin as young depth pieces and a possible DDV return late in the year, they'd also have a deep bench.

Of course, LeBron may not want to live in Minnesota. And he may not want to be the third ball handler behind Ball and Edwards. There are other factors at play. But purely from a basketball perspective, with LeBron added, this Timberwolves team might just be the favorite.
