@Meta@instagram@mosseri, the hypocrisy and incompetence of your moderation system is staggering.
Someone creates a brand-new Instagram account, uses a BMW logo as a profile picture, posts absolutely nothing, then gets permanently banned without warning.
No chance to change the profile photo, simply removed. That is not moderation. That is lazy and reckless enforcement.
Meanwhile, explicit and borderline nude content floods the platform daily with little to no action taken against it, because it keeps users scrolling and advertising revenue flowing.
Apparently, profit matters more than fairness or consistency.
A platform of Instagramโs scale should be capable of distinguishing between genuine bad actors and ordinary users making harmless mistakes. Instead, innocent accounts are punished instantly while far more questionable content remains untouched.
@realDonaldTrump@CIA@FBI@Europarl_EN@EU_Commission , if companies like Meta continue operating with arrogance, double standards, and complete disregard for ordinary users, they should not be surprised when people begin questioning whether these tech giants deserve the level of power and protection they currently enjoy.
