@toyota_mr21@COLDCARDwallet@nvk It's just an optional means of backing up the Passphrase. Ideally you store the SD card in another location from the seed, although I'd recommend the SD card as an addition to a steel backup of the Passphrase. If using an SD back up buy an Industrial Grade MicroSD for durability.
Email aliasing (I use @SimpleLogin) has been one of the absolute best quality of life, privacy, and security changes I've made in my setup over the past few years.
I cannot recommend it highly enough, and @bradytc_ did an amazing job explaining it in this article for @freedomtech!
Give it a read, and give him a follow 😉
P.S. - anyone have more aliases than I do 👀

@BitcoinReviewHQ@nvk@benthecarman Interesting. Seems to suggest that Windows and macOS have superior security than Linux. Wasn't expecting to read that.
@FreedomIsntSafe@craigraw@Apple Yes, this was discussed from 40:00 in BR060. Craig raised concerns. I'm not sure if Apple would allow a dummy app. Maybe a Sparrow Wallet app could just have a link that took people to https://t.co/sYGxHBIY0i, else “Sparrow Wallet is desktop only, any apps are fake”?
Always check every character of the BTC address if using copy paste. Clipboard malware can replace your wallet address with the attacker's address, including matching the first few and last few characters.
@HodlMcGoo@SeedSigner The malware sometimes comes preloaded with many addresses belonging to the attacker. Selecting the closest to the target is trivial.
If generated on demand, matching a few characters of a checksum isn't too hard.

@FreedomIsntSafe@rajatsoni What would you say are safe ways to use a signing sw with a hardware wallet? I'm thinking verify Sparrow Wallet's download with gpg before every tx and use a dedicated pc.
@GoldAndBitcoin1@foundationhq You could, but as Roundtable said, when you send any bitcoin in future, people can see onchain how much bitcoin you own. Read from "Be careful, though" in the article below https://t.co/Y8vXU6Ccwo
Guatemala used #bitcoin to safeguard official election documents, ensuring that any tampering of documents is made evident and any citizen can independently verify the information for themselves.
Wild!

@xcsler@adam3us@stephanlivera@Liquid_BTC@Boltzhq Opening a lightning channel necessities an on chain transaction. If on chain tx fees are $50, that needs to paid for each LN channel you open. Can open LN channels now for an on chain fee of less than $1.
@DocumentingBTC@KristineCranley The difficulty is not adjusted based on the number of computers mining, and the longest chain is not the valid chain, the chain with the most Proof of Work is the valid chain. https://t.co/5xBy5Y1mQ5
