Today, total sweetheart and brilliant kickass scientist @DrBeaVillarroel has received outstanding validation for her amazing, groundbreaking work on the VASCO transients. Dr. Ivo Busko, PhD - astronomer and former NASA engineer - published an analysis that, in Beatriz's words, is "using one of the most creative approaches in astronomy I have ever seen: by analysing pre-Sputnik photographic plates from a German telescope known to suffer from severe optical distortions (aberrations), he demonstrated that the transients appear on these plates and exhibit the same optical distortions as the stars themselves."
The results are incredible - undeniable evidence that transients originate from real objects producing light.

AMAZING. CONGRATULATIONS, Beatriz. Perhaps now the closed-minded, likely sexist, and definitely uninformed assholes (sorry not sorry) who have been so inappropriately and unprofessionally harassing you, will realize that they're closed-minded, likely sexist, uninformed assholes.
Here's to truth;)

@StarMan92062292 Awesome little guy. What's not so awesome is the false widow (I'm pretty sure it is anyway) on my chicken coop. Beautiful spider but both me and the chickens keep our distance 😬

“Ireland's data centre energy drain. How Big Tech added €1.4bn to household electricity bills.”
Tech giants are hoovering up massive energy and water supplies to power their data centres and the public are paying for it. No one voted for this.
@JamesMelville It's ironic for the government to lecture us on 'switching off' to save energy while we foot a hidden 8% bill to upgrade infrastructure specifically for data centers. They're asking households to sacrifice while industrializing our energy grid on our dime. It’s madness.
Before our Contact in the Desert field operation, the Psionic Asset team conducted reconnaissance of the area—studying the terrain, identifying observation points, and preparing for the mission ahead.
This footage captures that process.
We’re already planning future operations.
Where should we conduct our next field event?
Drop a location below and tell us why.

One of the world’s biggest AI data centres to be built on countryside by Auchtertool village in Fife - an estimated 20% of Scotland’s energy consumption when in operation.
Please sign this petition calling for the Scottish government to stop this.

So while farmers get punished over cow burp emissions, the greenhouse gas emissions of AI data centres have not been included in the Scottish Government’s analysis of the impact of data centres on Scotland’s climate targets, according to analysis by environmental charity APRS.
I see comments about newer data centres that don't use as much water. Well, factor in the water that's used by the electricity companies that supply the data centres and the figures look a lot different. We will never know the true extent of what resources the data centers use as the data is protected as a trade secret.
Oh no. Hope you're ok. I haven't had any negative experiences with them since 2024. I have with other stuff that happens around here but never the orbs. They've been very close to, a few feet a couple of times. And they seem to follow me a lot. I was away at a festival recently and looked up when we were walking back to the caravan. Sure enough they were there. Seems to be more curiosity than anything negative tbh.
