Let's dive into our collaboration with @axelar over the years and how it led to Common Prefix becoming the ecosystem’s steward.

Our journey with Axelar began in 2021, before the network had launched on mainnet. We audited the initial versions of the AxelarGateway smart contracts that connect EVM chains with Axelar.

Over the years, our collaboration deepened. Together with Interop Labs, we became the primary contributors of the ecosystem, building a series of complex chain integrations, including the integrations with XRP Ledger, Hedera, and Solana.

Leading up to the stewardship transition, we also took ownership of numerous core components of the Axelar stack, such as Axelarscan and ITS Portal.

Today's stewardship marks a new chapter in a journey that started 5 years ago, built on shared innovation and trust.

Why do I believe Common Prefix is one of the best teams building for the Axelar Network?

Because secure interoperability requires real research teams, not just developers.

@CommonPrefix is a blockchain research and engineering company focused on cryptography, distributed systems and protocol security. Their researchers publish peer reviewed work on consensus protocols and collaborate with universities and major blockchain ecosystems. That level of expertise directly strengthens the security of cross chain infrastructure.

This matters for @axelar

Axelar is designed as a decentralized cross chain network that connects multiple blockchains through secure message passing and validator consensus. The network relies on a proof of stake validator system, continuous audits and bug bounty programs to maintain security.
