However, when I asked the baker to check the ingredients on their ‘hand-held’ monitor - it showed folic acid IS in the ingredients list! So they are deliberately hiding it.

Please understand that folate helps prevent spina bifida, not folic acid. These are not the same chemical. In the trial folic acid supplementation resulted in 9 dead babies for every 1 case of SB prevented. That is not a good trade-off. Obvs. Please sign and share.
