When I was Muslim, I never noticed what the Quran doesn’t have.

Dates. Places. Names you can check.

Read the Quran’s stories: no chronology, almost no geography, kings called only “Pharaoh,” events floating in no particular year.

Where did the story happen? When? Under whom? The text doesn’t say. You can’t check it… which conveniently means you can’t crosscheck it.

Now read the opening of Luke 3:

“In the FIFTEENTH YEAR of the reign of TIBERIUS CAESAR — PONTIUS PILATE being governor of JUDEA, HEROD being tetrarch of GALILEE, his brother PHILIP tetrarch of ITUREA and TRACHONITIS, and LYSANIAS tetrarch of ABILENE, during the high priesthood of ANNAS and CAIAPHAS…”

SEVEN historical anchors in one sentence.

An emperor, a governor, three rulers with their exact territories, two high priests.

And people HAVE checked — for centuries, often trying to break it. Skeptics mocked Luke’s “Lysanias of Abilene” as an error…

UNTIL an inscription naming Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene turned up.

Pilate was called legend by some… until the Pilate Stone was dug up at Caesarea in 1961 with his name and title carved in it.

Luke 1:3-4 tells you why: “Having followed all things closely… that you may have CERTAINTY.”

Certainty. That’s the offer.

One book floats above history where nothing can touch it.

The other planted its flag in checkable ground and said: dig.

They dug. It’s still standing.

Praise the Lord and His mighty God-Breathed scripture.

In 1986, the American Medical Association published an article titled "The Physical Death of Jesus Christ." It details the entire process, from Jesus' trial to his death on the cross. In Luke 22, before Jesus was arrested, it is described that he was in great distress and sweating blood.

Though rare, it is known as hematidrosis, a condition caused by high levels of stress. In that era, crucifixion was considered the worst death for the worst criminals. But Jesus did not only suffer this. He was flogged with such severity that it tore his flesh.

They beat him so brutally that they tore his face and ripped out his beard. A crown of thorns 5 to 7.5 centimeters long was driven deeply into his scalp. The leather whip with which he was flogged had small iron balls and sharp bones attached.

The balls caused internal contusions, while the bones tore his flesh. His skeletal muscles, veins, and intestines were left exposed, causing him massive blood loss. Most men do not survive this kind of torture.

After being severely flogged, Jesus was forced to carry his cross while people mocked him and spat on him. Crucifixion was a process designed to inflict unbearable pain, leading to a slow and agonizing death.

Nails up to 20 centimeters long were driven into Jesus' wrists and feet. The Roman soldiers knew that the tendons in the wrists would tear and snap, forcing Jesus to use the muscles of his back to breathe.

Imagine the struggle, the pain, the courage...! Jesus endured this reality for 3 hours! The Gospel of John recounts that, after Jesus' death, a Roman soldier pierced his side with a spear, and blood and water flowed out.

Scientists explain that, due to hypovolemic shock, tachycardia causes fluid to accumulate in the membrane surrounding the lungs and heart.

This accumulation of fluid in the membrane surrounding the heart is called pericardial effusion, and in the lungs, pleural effusion. To the world, Christianity is foolishness. They believe it is for the weak. But when one confronts the reality of the cross, it is clear that it is not a pleasant image. It is brutal and horrifying.

This is the weight that Jesus bore. The weight of the world's sins, all so that we may live. God's wrath is fully satisfied in Jesus. This is what it took.

Repent and believe! Jesus is "God with us" incarnate. Jesus is our Savior. Jesus loves you so much that he endured this spiritual and physical punishment for your sins and mine.

Jesus is the LORD, God Almighty, Everlasting Father.

Thank you, Jesus.

Growing up, I always wondered why I was the way I was. Why did I want to be a girl? I thought, if only I knew why, perhaps there was something I could do about it. I couldn't figure it out and I gave in to it and transitioned in 1993.

I passed well as female; I deceived many. I was perfectly content living out the rest of my life pretending to be a woman. Then, in my late 50s, I heard the Gospel. The Holy Spirit stirred in me and I began to see my sin, all sin, in its true light and I could see myself for who and what I was, a wretch in desperate need of a savior; I was crushed.

I broke down one night and cried out to God confessing my sins and asking forgiveness. For the first time in my life, I repented and put my faith in Jesus. I was then washed clean; made a new creation. I was given a new heart with new desires... I was born again.

I saw my lifestyle as repulsive and I hated it, I wanted no more of it; I wanted no more of sin. Even though it didn't seem practical because I was way more entrenched as Maggie than I ever was as William, I began the detransition process.

It took three years, it was expensive and it was painful. But as of October of 2023, after 30 years of living a lie, William was back and I live my life now for my savior, for my King.

From childhood, I never knew why I was like this, but now, I know, and it's simple. It's because there is sin in the world.

Come as you are, and be transformed.

I spoke with the owner of the Drip Cafe in Denver, Colorado where the Denver Communists "protest" on the first Friday of every month.

The cafe has been vandalized and harassed for years because they are Christians. The Communists hand out the anti-cafe flyers on the street to prevent customers from going inside with false claims that they are homophobic.

The cafe helps homeless people get jobs, get ID's, haircuts, and helps them get access to food and clothing, while teaching them Christians principals that help them get off the street and improve their lives.

What incentive do communists have to keep people homeless, on drugs and on the street?

Raheleh Moeini, a biomedical engineering graduate of Amirkabir University, had traveled back to Iran from Italy to visit her family. On January 18th, in Saadatabad, Tehran, she was shot by security forces and at that very moment, bleeding and wounded, she was abducted and transferred to Qarchak Prison. Her family spent weeks not knowing where she was. Whether she was alive or dead.

Now Branch Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, has issued its verdict. One year for being on the street where they shot her. One and a half years for having a Twitter account. Two years banned from leaving the country. This regime first put a bullet in her, then put her on trial.
