In our recent paper published in @jcheminf, (https://t.co/daRujdsIaf), my colleagues and I described the #PubChem Patent Knowledge Panel that helps users to quickly identify chemicals, genes/proteins, and diseases co-mentioned in patent documents.
My colleagues and I recently published this "PubChem 2025 update" paper, highlighting the latest advancements in PubChem's data, tools, and services. https://t.co/aooTZPDzIY #PubChem @NAR_Open
If you teach science courses at a high school or (community) college, I suggest participating in this in-person conference, organized by @NCBI. Travel support may be available for you. The application deadline is May 12, 2024. https://t.co/M53OPzsZv0
The #NIHCommonFund’s Venture Program SysBio Initiative is underway! Learn how SysBio will integrate #NIH AMP data sets to allow researchers to explore specific #genes, #molecules, #cells, and more across different tissues and diseases: https://t.co/AhRkukddAh
Just spent 20 minutes looking for this post from @marwinsegler to include in my Digital Chemistry course 😄 We need multimodal AI search for memes on Twitter.
Happy to be listed as one of the 2023 Highly Cited Researchers from @Clarivate. It is two years in a row. I appreciate all colleagues and collaborators who made this possible. https://t.co/9wGnMjcrdU #HighlyCited2023#HighlyCitedResearchers
Excited to learn that my paper “Exploring Chemical Information in PubChem” (https://t.co/y1fjfzqRPN), published in @WileyGlobal’s @Curr_Protocols, received enough downloads to be a #TopDownloadedArticle in the journal.
Initial release of✨chemhover✨is ready! You can now hover over smiles and get the drawn image! This is an alpha release - must install manually. I'm working on getting it added to chrome/firefox extension stores. Please post issues with bugs/feedback ♥️

I still believe we're entering an era of digital transformation in healthcare. 2 years ago, I would have given EHR vendors (Epic, Cerner...), Digital Giants (Google, Apple, MSFT...), & VC-funded start-ups equal odds of success. Now, I'd give start-ups the edge. Focus is key.(3/3)
Batting avg for Digital Giants' big health plays not good: @IBMWatsonHealth, Haven, now @GoogleHealth all failed. AppleHealth said to be struggling.https://t.co/8BMgru3Z9W Microsoft's still OK (industry, not consumer, focused). Digital health clearly not for faint of heart.(2/3)
I was on @GoogleHealth's advisory bd in 2000's. In ~2010 Eric Schmidt told us G was pulling plug: "It's too hard for us."
New G-Health would be "different": "We appreciate how hard health is; in it for long haul."
But G is pulling out once again.(1/3)
