@graeme_cobb I've found with my Tesla I am very much beating it in the summer, bit less in the winter.
My works Kia, never hit it. Supposed to be 280miles, at best I get 240 and normally between 200-220 in summer and about 180 winter. Glad it is end of lease in a few months!
@cnxsoft I look forward to their successful Kickstarter, and when I can buy one.
Been stung to many time with crowdfunding, so if it becomes a product I can just buy I'm definitely down!
@awlnx@electricfelix And the BMW, even after setting it all up how it wants, still just decided to charge at peak rate anyway for an indeterminate time ๐ซฃ๐
@awlnx@electricfelix It does make it way to complicated. Like my partner wanted to charge to 50% but isn't going anywhere, so no departure time needed but have to set one.
My other two cars are set start/end time and the car will charge as much as it can in that time then stop ๐
@KlausD66178@Prusa3D Why do you have to be rude? I understand the benefits, but also the downsides if, for example, your internet goes down. If local it doesn't have to interrupt work flow.
@electricfelix@awlnx Yes, unlike my Tesla or works Kia Niro, you just set a charge time and off it goes. The i4? Set a charge time, HAVE to set a departure time, the it will charge for 2 minutes, unless very low then will charge until about 12-15% regardless of schedule. It is really awful!
