A Nova Scotia woman had precancerous cells on her cervix.
That was two years ago.
Pap smear. Abnormal cells. Referral to a gynecologist so they could find out if it was cancer. The referral sat for nine months.
She finally gets an appointment. She shows up on time — 10 a.m., in her calendar. The office says it was at 9. Won’t see her. Won’t reschedule. Start over. New referral.
She leaves crying. Seven more months go by. They call about an appointment she was never told about. She can’t take it.
She’s on a TV contract. Miss it and they can sue her.
Next opening: next year.
They don’t even call her back. She has to chase them.
She said the quiet part out loud: imagine dying of cervical cancer while you wait just to see a gyno.
That is Canada’s “universal healthcare.”
Not free care. A government monopoly that loses your referral, punishes you for their scheduling error, and hands a possible cancer case a calendar date in another year.
Coverage on paper. Care on a waitlist. You pay the taxes either way. The state decides when you’re allowed to find out if you have cancer.
This is the model they want to import as Medicare for All.
Don’t.
He’s trying to walk back his record so he can appear moderate and run for president
Don’t believe a word this lying weasel says
He knew exactly what he was doing when he dined at french laundry and filled skate parks with sand
Gavin Newsom's "regrets" are someone else's lost home, shuttered business, depressed child, lonely elderly parent. He says it so casually, but the word carries a million heartbreaks.
You know things are getting dark in the minds of white progressive women when Luigi Mangione and Lindsay Clancy are their biggest heroes, while Sophie Cunningham and Riley Gaines are their biggest enemies.
In September of 2005, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren, a History teacher at RobinsonHigh School in Little Rock, did something not to be forgotten. On the first day of school, with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed all of the desks in her classroom. When the first period kids entered the room they discovered that there were no desks.
'Ms. Cothren, where are our desks?'
She replied, 'You can't have a desk until you tell me how you earn the right to sit at a desk.'
They thought, 'Well, maybe it's our grades.' 'No,' she said.
'Maybe it's our behavior.' She told them, 'No, it's not even your behavior.'
And so, they came and went, the first period, second period, third period. Still no desks in the classroom. Kids called their parents to tell them what was happening and by early afternoon television news crews had started gathering at the school to report about this crazy teacher who had taken all the desks out of her room.
The final period of the day came and as the puzzled students found seats on the floor of the desk-less classroom. Martha Cothren said, 'Throughout the day no one has been able to tell me just what he or she has done to earn the right to sit at the desks that are ordinarily found in this classroom. Now I am going to tell you.'
At this point, Martha Cothren went over to the door of her classroom and opened it. Twenty-seven (27) U.S. Veterans, all in uniform, walked into that classroom, each one carrying a school desk. The Vets began placing the school desks in rows, and then they would walk over and stand alongside the wall. By the time the last soldier had set the final desk in place those kids started to understand, perhaps for the first time in their lives, just how the right to sit at those desks had been earned.
Martha said, 'You didn't earn the right to sit at these desks. These heroes did it for you. They placed the desks here for you. They went halfway around the world, giving up their education and interrupting their careers and families so you could have the freedom you have. Now, it's up to you to sit in them. It is your responsibility to learn, to be good students, to be good citizens. They paid the price so that you could have the freedom to get an education. Don't ever forget it.'
By the way, this is a true story. And this teacher was awarded the Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year for the State of Arkansas in 2006. She is the daughter of a WWII POW.
Do you think this email is worth passing along so others won't forget either, that the freedoms we have in this great country were earned by our U.S. Veterans?... I did.
Let us always remember the men and women of our military and the rights they have won for us.
Newsom claims "California leads the nation." Admittedly, he has a point.
California leads the nation in fraud.
California leads the nation in poverty.
California leads the nation in illiteracy.
California leads the nation in gas prices.
California leads the nation in debt.
California leads in unemployment.
California leads in homelessness.
California leads in electricity rates.
California leads in housing costs.
California leads the nation in U-Haul rentals.
We won’t forget Iryna Zarutska 🙏
It is a slap on the face to her family and to all victims of transit crime when liberal leaders allow repeat violent offenders to walk our streets and ride our trains!

Bill Clinton: “Palestinians were offered a state on the entire West Bank and east Jerusalem as its capital. Israel accepted, but Palestinians refused. They did not care about a homeland for the Palestinians. All they wanted was to kill Israelis"
This must be shared every day.
BREAKING - A 2013 clip of Obama scolding Republicans on how irresponsible it is to shut down the government just to blackmail a President to get what they want is going viral.
The No Kings crowd will be silent on this one.
Gavin Newsom sent rocks to Italy for his $1.2 billion California Capitol renovation.
Everyone involved has been forced to sign NDAs to keep the details secret from taxpayers.
Remember this the next time Newsom complains about Trump’s 100% privately funded ballroom.
😡 WHOA!!!! "The California Legislature this year quietly spent $5.2 million to have granite mined in the Central Valley, shipped to Italy to be finished into bricks and sent back to the state to be used on a part of the exterior of the eventual new Capitol Annex building.
The stonework, which KCRA 3 was the first to report on Tuesday, is a small part of the $1.2 billion Capitol Annex Project"
WHAT?! SHIPPED TO ITALY?! Californian stone workers weren't good enough King Newsom?
@GavinNewsom@AsmDems@CASenateDems You have a lot to answer for! NO KINGS!
Proposition 50 slices Orange County up so that voters outside of Orange County have more say over who represents Orange County then voters within Orange County.
Orange County, vote No On Prop 50
#NoOnProp50
Proposition 50 deprives Central Valley Hispanics of the ability to select their congressman. Prop 50 shifts the power from the people to special interests.
Vote No on Prop 50
#NoOn50
There's a reason Newsom doesn't even show Californians the map they're voting for on the ballot. Because they would reject it. Princeton University analysts gave it an "F" grade and called it one of the two worst gerrymanders of the last 50 years.
"I-5 CLOSURE IS GAVIN NEWSOM'S 'BRIDGEGATE'"
This Despicable Political Stunt Punishes Southern Californians to Fluff Up Newsom's Presidential Ambitions
Steve Hilton: @TeamSteveHilton
I have spoken this morning with multiple people with direct knowledge of the situation. Here are the facts:
The closure of I-5 was ordered by Gavin Newsom. It was not requested by the White House, Secret Service, the Department of War, the Marine Corps, Camp Pendleton, or anyone connected with today's events.
Gavin Newsom's claim that "live munitions" were to be fired "over the I-5 freeway" is a lie.
That was never the plan. Camp Pendleton has been there for over 80 years. Live munitions are used every day. There has never been any need to close the freeway.
This is a despicable political stunt from a governor drunk on attention for his pathetic social media trolling of President Trump. But now he has gone too far - disrupting the lives of millions of Californians purely to fluff up his own presidential ambitions. Abusing his power for personal gain, even as he lectures us about authoritarianism in the 'No Kings' protests. This is a massive scandal. It is Gavin Newsom's 'Bridgegate.'
We cannot go on like this. I will restore seriousness and integrity to the office of California governor. I will order a full investigation into Newsom's “I-5-gate." And make sure that he is held accountable for this outrageous and cruel attack on millions of Southern Californians.
Get ready for tomorrow in honor of Gavin
Here is what a king does:
When his subjects vote to have a independent comission make the voter districts- he says no I’ll draw them
When his voters vote - twice - for the death penalty, he says no I’ll dismantle the gas chambers
When voters demand that laws be followed- prop 36- he says haha no. I’ll leave enforcement dollars out of the budget
And a king says “I don’t care if that maiden is married to my best friend - I must have her”.
THAT’S what a king- king Gavin- does.
Outlining the negative consequences of Prop. 50 with @23abcnews. What Gavin Newsom is doing is eliminating the voices of rural Californians throughout our state. Vote NO on Prop. 50.
