@yesbrendan I was there. Prelims was cross-pool play without playing anyone in your pool. There was no contingency plan for 3+ undefeated teams in a pool. Lisgar A also got knocked out while weaker teams moved on. Organizers wiped their hands clean by blaming Glebe mislabeling their teams.
Monaco, Baku, Singapore, and Vegas are true street circuits (have daily traffic, sidewalks, storefronts, etc). The others are layouts where cars are allowed to drive, but nobody uses them for a commute. Jeddah has banked curves, for crying out loud!
@yesbrendan To be fair, a hybrid model rarely works as something to satisfy everyone. Orchestras keep their classical & pops events separate, for example. Cannes & ComicCon don’t overlap.
@yesbrendan Don’t you know, pop culture siphons club budget away from my campaign to have an elite group of 4 attend tournaments every fortnight. Go make your own club!

H2H tiebreakers double-count 1 game over all others.
If you *exclude* the match between tied teams, 1 team will be ahead on wins. Once the match is added, both team are tied. Then you count that match a 2nd time to give the team with fewer wins (vs everyone else) the edge.
@SeanDThompson A new game is a fine way to break ties if resources are available to do it. I just have to curb the fallacy that past H2H is indicative of a theoretical (unplayed) tiebreaking match. Unfortunately, using H2H “feels” right.
