Social media is broad but shallow. You reach many, but your impact on their life is minimal. Local church ministry is the opposite. You impact relatively few, but your influence on their life is profound. It’s narrow but deep.

If you’re making a list of people who care about racial reconciliation, justice, and the like, put my name on it. It would be my honor. Call me whatever you like — wokester, awake-ian, a non-sleeping personage, the walking manifestation of Jolt Cola, whatever floats your boat
Was talking to a friend last night and he said, “Where I’m from (rural Kentucky) wearing a mask and social distancing is considered ‘liberal’”.

This helped me a ton in my business and life. Not having my phone barking for my attention all day has allowed me to become so much more intentional with my time.
One of the best decisions you can make for focus and productivity is permanently turning off almost all notifications and scheduling time for email rather than periodically glancing at your inbox.
I couldn’t express my thoughts of today better than this. Thankful for gathering with my faith family today. The word was preached, sang, read, and rejoiced over.
For one hour I stopped worrying about what this church or that church is doing & put on my mask to gather socially distanced with my church & hear God’s word preached over the sound of yammering babies. That one hour wasn’t perfect but it was as close to heaven as I got today
