“Get the hell outta here.”
This is the attitude that our elected officials have for Republican voters — contempt.
“I’m the assh@le saying you can’t come in.”
If you know anyone in South Dakota, please show them this video.
I never ask you to make things viral.
Marco Rubio just said what the Trump administration has clearly been trying to achieve and signal — but with a level of clarity, precision, and elegance that no one else in the room has come close to matching, not even President Trump himself.
In this clip he states it plainly:
“The Iranian system is led by clerics, radical clerics. That’s what it’s always been led by. And that’s what it continues to be led by.”
This is the uncomfortable truth the administration has been circling around for months: despite the pressure, the strikes, and the diplomatic maneuvering, there has been no regime change in Iran. The same radical clerical system that has ruled since 1979 remains in power. Rubio is simply willing to say it out loud instead of spinning narratives or claiming victories that haven’t happened.
That honesty matters. Too many voices either pretend the theocracy has been fundamentally altered or avoid the question entirely. Rubio doesn’t. He acknowledges reality: the mullahs and their ideological apparatus are still running the show.
For those of us who want a genuinely free Iran — a secular, prosperous country under the Lion & Sun, led by King Reza Pahlavi — this kind of straightforward assessment is refreshing. It keeps the focus where it belongs: the regime has not changed, and it will not change itself. Real transformation will only come when the Iranian people are finally free to choose their own future.
Rubio gets the fundamentals right. The rest of the conversation would benefit from the same clarity.
@dwillyjpox@hughhewitt@AmitSegal It doesn’t matter, America has been sold out to radical Islam! Trump is just a puppet on a string at this point! Just like all politicians, he has been co-opted by bad actors!
🚨Secretary of State Marco Rubio doubles down on calling Iran's leadership "religious theocratic lunatics". Iran is not a government. It's a theocracy with ballistic missiles and a death wish for Western civilization.
You don't negotiate with a regime. You judge them by what they've done. What they fund. Who they arm. What they chant.
Like most MAGA Republicans I do not recognize the Trump we are seeing the last few weeks.
After the disastrous deal with Iran Trump is now handing Turkey F-35 fighter jets.
How much money and influence do these Qatari dollars have over him and his family?
I hope Vance, Witkoff and Kushner were watching Secretary Rubio in Bahrain this morning. He just told reporters that confronting Iranian proxies Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis is "critical and important" and says "ultimately you're not going to have peace and stability in this region as long as there are non-state actors operating within the boundaries and borders of sovereign countries and being funded by Iran"
Funny, the MOU the three of you negotiated doesn't say that.
Those F-35s will eventually make their way to Julani in Syria. And then ISIS will have F-35s.
Terrible idea to give Turkey F-35s. Erdogan already said he wants to conquer Jerusalem. When he does that, we are next. The jihadists want to destroy Israel first and then they will do the same to America with weapons given to them by the US.
The writing is on the wall.
@ItsDecado@JDVance@JDVance doesn’t care about the people of Iran, he doesn’t care about the people of America. All he cares about is becoming president and we will be sorry if he is elected president!
Protecting Hezbollah is flat out appeasement. Against our own national security interests. And the insistence that the American public and Israel accept it is never going to fly.
