Extremely disappointing experience with @Flipkart
I ordered a MacBook Neo on 8 Oct, delivered on 13 Oct, and the device wouldn’t even power on (DOA). I reported the issue on the day of delivery.
An Apple Authorised Service Provider has now documented a hardware issue. Yet @Flipkart is refusing a return or replacement and telling me to contact the brand.
I bought a NEW laptop, not a device that needs repair immediately after delivery. I’ve already spent days chasing support, and a repair may mean sending it to Bengaluru and waiting another ~10 days.
I have already registered a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline and obtained an authorised service report confirming the hardware issue. Since @Flipkart is refusing a replacement or refund and passing responsibility to the brand, I am now preparing to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and raise a dispute with my credit card issuer.
I hope @Flipkart takes this seriously and resolves the matter before further escalation becomes necessary. I want a brand-new replacement or a full refund not endless delays and referrals.

What is the point of these many charges.
@Flipkart@FlipkartSupport I paid ₹854 in fees (incl. a “Protect Promise Fee”) for a phone that showed “Out for Delivery” 7 days ago and still hasn’t arrived. Support extends the timeline by 24 hrs daily and says it’s “prioritised”.
