Yesterday my husband's phone was snatched by two people riding a bike while he was walking on our road in Jayanagar 5th Block.
How can the residents ever feel safe in their own homes and streets? @Tejasvi_Surya@acpjayanagar
continued...
@unscrabble @Tejasvi_Surya@acpjayanagar Yeah, this seems to be a common thing. When my husband went to get a duplicate sim, they mentioned that about two people request one in a week's time citing the same reason. Such sad state of affairs and nothing being done about this.
This is not the first time I am hearing of this. Same thing happened with my dad two years ago and internet has tons of similar cases listed, in fact on the exact same road - 9th main jayanagar 5th Block.
What is the police doing about this?
Hospitals are struggling to keep the Covid vs. vaccination queues secluded. Meanwhile corporate offices in all major cities are empty. Can we re-purpose our offices for vaccination drives (for employees++) from May 1st? #ACT#StepOne@nachiketmor
Many old songs are like bookmarks of your life, you listen to them and that chapter from your life opens up right in-front of your eyes, bringing all the good/bad memories with it.
Don't listen to them too often, or that bookmark will fade.
1/ We have a very poor understanding of privilege in India. This has far-reaching effects on the products we design and build.
I am writing this in English. You are able to read it. Congrats - we are both privileged.
We have spent two days trying to convince him but he listens to nobody. The tree was mostly covering the white house in the pic. The branches growing over his adjacent house were minimal. We stay opposite and have not faced any issues from the bats. They have been harmless.
A fully grown cherry tree has been chopped down in 41st Cross, Jayanagar 5th Block. The adjacent yellow house owner claims the bats inhabiting the tree are dirtying his premises. No reason to chop the full tree instead of pruning branches. #BBMP pls note and take necessary action
I can't speak for House, obviously - no one's written clever words for me to say - but I'm pretty sure he'd tell you it's not a matter of 'solving' Covid. This is an epidemic, not a diagnostic problem. We solve it together by staying apart.
