@ProFootballTalk @PFT_Live I think this negatively affects the chances of lesser known players trying to show their worth. With the AAF and XFL, getting legitimate game action has given players the opportunity to make it in the NFL. 1 less exhibition game makes it much tougher for unknown players to stick.
