During rush hour in the evening there is terrible congestion around the Boka area because police is being paid by buses and combis so they load their passengers by the road closing off one lane. What angers us the most is that they did not demolish their employees’ houses. Attached is a video showing the houses of Council officials that are still standing. We also have a radio recording of the Director of Housing, Mr Nyabeza, acknowledging our stands and clarifying the army cantonment issue.

They used our pipes for water and sewer connections and said they would return them. We have a stamped letter that we sent to Council asking for our pipes to be returned. We had to buy new pipes for a second time. Yet, despite all this, they still call us illegal.

Can you please bring attention to an issue happening at the CBZ Masvingo branch?

It is surprising that the branch is refusing to accept ZiG banknotes for school fees payments. Parents are being told to make bank transfers instead of simply depositing the ZiG cash into a CBZ account.

What is even more confusing is that if you pay in US dollar cash, it is accepted without any problem, but ZiG cash is being turned away.

What is really happening at the CBZ Masvingo branch regarding the acceptance of ZiG banknotes? If this is an official policy, the bank should explain the reason. If not, the issue needs to be addressed.

A 29-YEAR OLD woman from Masvingo, who was forced to lie on top of her husband while multiple ZANU-PF men raped her, also saw other MDC women raped by multiple men in 2008 at a ZANU-PF base: "The ringleaders then directed the ZANU-PF militia to rape whichever woman they had been assigned to while her husband laid face down underneath her serving as a “pillow.” The ringleaders instructed the women to take off all of their clothes. The six men assigned to me forced me to lie down where we stood. I did everything they said because I was very scared. I lay against my husband’s back and all six of the men who had been assigned to me took off their pants. One man pushed his penis into my vagina, another put his penis in my mouth, another on my ear, and the rest on other parts of my body. I began to cry in pain. As they raped me, they said I must join the ZANU-PF and defect from the MDC party. As this was happening, I could see and hear other women being raped around me simultaneously."

Good afternoon Crime Watch Zim. Passmore Mtangadura (46), a son, a brother, and most importantly, a father of two, was kiIIed by a man known as Satan in Unit N, Chitungwiza.

The incident started after Satan sold a cellphone that the deceased had entrusted him to keep. When Passmore went to ask for his phone back, Satan assaulted him so severely that he was left unconscious. The assault happened at around 12 noon in broad daylight, and there were many witnesses who saw what happened.

Passmore spent a week in the ICU before sadly passing away on 16 June. Satan is linked to a gang known as Black Vendetta, which is known for terrorising people in the area. The gang also believes its members are untouchable and can do as they please.

After the assault, Satan fled to Penhalonga. However, yesterday he was seen back in Unit N, openly drinking alcohol on the street. The police were called, but their first response was that only one officer was available and he could not go there alone. They later said they were looking for a Mahindra police vehicle, but nothing happened. He has still not been arrested.

What is even more painful is that the police do not appear to be taking any action. How many more people need to die before the Zimbabwe Republic Police takes action?

Can someone simply kiII another person and not face any consequences because they believe they are untouchable?

Did you know that there is 42.5R & 42.5N in Cement. R mean Rapid hardening and N mean normal setting.
