@JohnJamesMI This guy hasn't a clue about the difference between CDN and US forests. US forests are patches of gov-owned tree lots while the CDN forest extends from BC to Labrador and up to the tree line. The most we could do to 'manage' the forests is to try to prosecute arsonsists.
