Cautiously optimistic update on Candy 🍬

After months of silence, it’s good to finally have communication:

• Withdrawals acknowledged and expected
• Platform being decoupled from Futureverse
• Collection visibility + more resilient storage coming

That’s objectively better than where we were.

That said, trust gets rebuilt through execution, not statements. The big questions still matter: self-custody, royalties, and what a secondary marketplace will for these and all sports collectibles will look like.

Long-term, I think digital sports collectibles work if three things happen:

1️⃣ A chain that properly supports royalties (MLB needs recurring revenue)
2️⃣ A high-functioning secondary marketplace with real price discovery
3️⃣ True ownership + status signaling (self-custody, display, portability)

Get those right, and the rest follows. Miss them, and nothing sticks.

I’m cautiously optimistic, continuing to advocate, educate, and push for clarity. Collector perspective only — not financial or legal advice.
