Resilience and Mental Health🧵
The word resilience is increasingly used in Mental Health settings to describe an ability to recover quickly from adversity. The concept is problematic for several reasons.

I’m happy my tax money is used to provide financial support to those who are too unwell to work. I’m also more than happy to pay taxes on the premise that if I’m one of the unlucky ones who can’t work due to ill health I will be financially supported
