didn't know I had missed other weeks of talks organized by @laurenleemack and @REAS
Thank you to @martingrasser@jeffgdavis for igniting my intellectual spark yesterday. A wonderful lecture and talk @UCLA last night hosted by @REAS.
What I found most compelling was the absolute mastery both these artists have in terms of their craft as well as their language / understanding to speak and unpack said craft.
And yet - both remain so humble, so open, vulnerable even. This remains the mark of my favorite thinkers and creators: unrelenting curiosity mixed with a touch of imposter syndrome. It’s a potent recipe for meaningful work and expression in this journey we call life.
Today we say goodbye to this great blue bird

Twenty-five years ago, we were all talking about “software art” as a subset of “digital art.” Over the past five years, we have focused on the even narrower “generative art.” What is software art? This bibliography is my perspective: https://t.co/G4fMdPeQee
