@Kaleidicworld@jornalnota Governing isn't determination, companies set frameworks so that people's actions align with their interests, they don't need to anticipate all action. Sure i agree politicians should police social media, am just saying someone is always making the rules, the question is who
@Kaleidicworld@jornalnota Am not sure if that's possible since large social organizations are a fact of life in the contemporary world. The companies that govern social media platforms for example are also those with "power" that "manage" our social relations on these platforms.
@DougLain Risking a world economic collapse to stop Iran from having nuclear weapons doesn't make sense, especially if we take into account the new regime is more extreme than the previous one.
@DougLain The idea that the rest of the world would be "hurt more" that ne US seems like a childish logic since the world economy is interdependent plus the US would be hurt too so I don't see what is gained by causing the crisis.
@TuttReal Am currently writing a book in therapy culture. This one is much better when it comes to the Marxist perspectives on the topic https://t.co/pGQk5QaYav
@DougLain@ccutrone1970 So Trump is successful for making Iran open the strait they closed because of the war Trump started? His success is getting things back to the situation before the war.
