@sappholives83 The nitwit’s own caption satisfying reveals that he himself doesn’t believe that he is really a woman.
He isn’t the sharpest tool in the box, but a tool he most certainly is..
Fundamental to the progressive left’s project is controlling what people are allowed to say. It’s something that’s been unfolding for most of my adult life.
It starts off seemingly benignly, with offensive racial slurs being outlawed or socially unacceptable. But then the line keeps moving, until people find themselves working in organisations where simply acknowledging that biological sex is immutable can land them in serious trouble.
If it were up to the sort of people who read The Guardian, we’d all be asking each other’s pronouns before every interaction, and there’d be an ever-growing list of words, phrases and ideas that couldn’t be expressed because they’d be deemed politically incorrect.
These people barely even try to hide their authoritarian instincts anymore.
I’m just glad the FSU exists and is offering us all some protection.
We avoid commenting on active cases, but the pattern being laid bare in Tempest vs DEFRA and the Rural Payments Agency is painfully familiar to those of us in the NHS.
E.G. in at least one NHS LGBTQ chat in recent times, moderators have blocked same sex discussions because it “upsets people”, while approving gender identity content without hesitation. One topic is treated as dangerous, the other as harmless. The imbalance is obvious.
It’s classic DARVO (deny, attack, reverse).
Men trying to stop women organising as a sex based group is nothing new. What is harder to watch is how many women in the NHS are now helping to push sex based rights back to the nineteenth century, throwing colleagues and patients under the bus. It has the hallmarks of people protecting their power and influence by attaching themselves to whatever trend is in vogue, rather than the evidence-based approach we expect from NHS colleagues at all levels.
We will keep speaking for NHS colleagues who have been unlawfully silenced by our employers for far too long.
