Developers have been using World ID to differentiate unique humans and bots. Now, with AgentKit, they can differentiate bots from agents that are acting on behalf of the unique humans that control them.
We believe explicit and certain agent delegation is critical to scale.
If you're building an agentic service or protocol, please reach out! We'd love to work with you.
Onion DAO is in person technology festival we’re hosting in Chicago this summer. Last year we had over 400+ people attend the month long event and walk away with new skills, friendships, and deeper understanding of frontier technology.
Our approach is simple, outside of tech circles, the every day person is very far removed from how far these technologies have come in a very short time. We want to engage them with a unique cultural experience, and move AI away from just a tool in the workplace or a thing to fear into something they can engage with on their terms.
We will have workshops, playful activities, and competitions to highlight areas in cybersecurity, AI, decentralized coordination, and hardware/robotics. We hope to see you at Onion DAO this summer!

BREAKING: Inside Sam Altman's "Proof of Human" Company 'Tools for Humanity'
CEO & Co-Founder, Alex Blania
As agents like OpenClaw explode, OpenAI calls the future “extremely multi-agent”
If bots can act human at scale, humanity becomes the ultimate infrastructure.
We unpack:
• 38M+ users, 17M+ verified humans
• Why “combating bots is a lost cause”
• Why platforms will need proof-of-human
• 99%+ of internet traffic could be AI
• The “last innings before superintelligence”
• Why platforms like X may not be usable very soon
+ we dive into Merge Labs, @alexblania & Sam's latest co-founding, a BCI research lab with $252M in seed funding at a $850M valuation
This is the most in-depth look at @worldcoin, @merge, & the breakthrough entrepreneur hand picked by @sama to lead Tools for Humanity

World Chat just launched disappearing messages with customizable timers, putting you in control of your conversation history.
✅ Messages that vanish completely.
✅ Proof you’re talking to a real human.
✅ Quantum-resistant.
✅ No phone number required.
All built on XMTP.

Discord is only the beginning
in an attempt to verify things like humanity and age online many governments will consider forcing apps to kyc every user
to be clear, most apps don't want this
it's a very bad idea because id databases will inevitably get compromised, it means the end of anonymity online, and bad actors can fake it with ai so it doesn't even work in the first place
we're on a race against time to come up with a better way of solving this. one that doesn’t involve sharing/storing personal data, and that doesn't break down with ai
this is exactly how the World ID protocol works
it combines recent advancements in cryptography — including in secure enclaves, digitally signed images, self custody, zero-knowledge-proofs, and anonymized multi party computation — to create a protocol where you can prove stuff about yourself fully anonymously
it's also open source; including the hardware, firmware, ai models, client modules, and sdks
it's far from perfect and there's a lot of work left to do, but it's come a long way, and we think it will become critical infrastructure in the years ahead
The Tools for Humanity Engineering Fellowship is open for applications. Early-career engineers interested in solving complex problems in the age of AI, are encouraged to apply.
Moltbook voting can’t distinguish between
• 1 person running 1,000 molts
• 1,000 molts run by 1,000 different people
Prove ownership over your agent swarms with https://t.co/YaXaKTwv0S using World ID.
Platforms can verify incoming molts have a human owner and reject misbehaving swarms.
@tyneslol@dwr X has already done that lol - I assume at this pace of agent spawning more than 80% of X posts are bot posts.
The remaining 19% are human using gpt in an old fashioned way to edit its post
and then there’s likely the 1% of “real human” impulse driven posts like this one 😂
Last year with the PL network team, we refined the tech and systems that helped launch World in 20+ countries. More growth on the private, secure human network is on its way.
Sending money feels better when you know there’s an actual human on the other side. World Chat makes planning celebrations (and splitting the bill) more delightful.
