We're at the early stages of a major re-rating for a company with strong LDES fundamentals and compelling AI growth tailwinds.
@Dan_macros@scifi_charlie Gamesa Electric (GaE) was bought by ABB last year.
Recent 2025 Financial Report states that their relationship is still ongoing.
Having now had a chance to watch the #IES presentation in full, I would say this.
Whilst Cap and Floor contracts are the most immediate high-impact update, it is clear that Invinity management expects numerous deals in the coming months.
Their confidence comes from the clear competitive advantage Endurium now has over lithium-ion for numerous applications where, at the very least, fire or permitting risks are a risk. But they are also now hitting the mark on cost.
I call that a tipping point.
One intriguing market is the US.
We were told this on 5th May.
"The Company continues to progress numerous initiatives to scale up Invinity's global manufacturing capacity, including the establishment of a U.S. manufacturing facility later this year."
The company website gives more details, with "more than 1GWh" of production capacity stated. So they aren't starting small.
In the call, we were told that this production will be announced once sufficient US projects have been signed to warrant it. How much of the 1GWh do they need to do that isn't clear, but the confidence that these projects are coming is clearly very high and plans for US production later this year strongly indicate that Invinity expects to be announcing deals soon.
@flaberghastedUK@HereticSignal Update regarding the Vanadium suppliers for Invinity $IES.L:
33 Financial Risk Management of latest RNS:
Market risk: "Price of vanadium to be used in the battery electrolyte".
Management: "Strategic supply arrangements with multiple (!) pre-qualified suppliers." (Page 30).
@flaberghastedUK@HereticSignal I agree, more fixed price supply will be necessary.
Having a order book of more than 6 GWh and figuring out the supplier for that certainly is a nice problem to have though! 😆
@flaberghastedUK@HereticSignal Invinity already has a fixed price deal for 6 GWh of Vanadium electrolyte.
I'm sure that Largo would also love a deal like that since it secures their finances.
There are huge mines on standby waiting for the demand to grow - Ferro Alloy Resources for example.
We welcome @RachelReevesMP "buy British" comments concerning energy infrastructure. Invinity is the UK's leading domestic #battery manufacturer. Our @MadeinBritainGB#VFBs support lower energy bills & enhance national energy security @mgshanks@kittysull1 https://t.co/tRmgthisVx
Rachel Reeves tells ministers to buy British made in 4 sectors:
Ships
Steel
Energy
AI
The UK National Wealth Fund owns 20% of Invinity Energy Systems and has recently also invested in ITM Power.
Both are Energy & AI plays.

@FarrarSerge@PaulMClapham@JordanSolace@philroberts@NatWealthFund $EOSE Director of Sales Gerald Donovan also left the company 2 months ago to work for Invinity Energy Systems #IES $IES.L as a Regional Sales Director.
There might be more people that left and we just don't know about it...
@MurphyDesigner@JordanSolace It's not just Shane McBee.
Gerald Donovan also left EOS Energy for Invinity Energy Systems.
I think most people on X highly underestimate Invinity's position by just looking at their balance sheet.
@JordanSolace@philroberts Biggest cost reduction comes from buying the shipping containers in larger quantities, they have a fixed price supply agreement of 6 GWh of Vanadium electrolyte.
Everything else - pumps, plastic, cabling - is very cheap.
@JordanSolace@philroberts Each 500 MWh semi automatic production line costs 2-4 million pounds - totallly managable CAPEX. They receive a capacity reserve fee from Frontier Power for each 500 MWh they win in Cap&Floor.
Licensing their production to China/India also lets them receive royalties.
