I’m confused by the general air of surprise. This—the election will take several days to resolve, due to mail voting; the President will use that period to do what he can to try to claim power—was the widely expected outcome; it has been projected for months.

Change doesn’t happen overnight until suddenly it does. On the other side of this current struggle are the long awaited breakthroughs people have been striving toward for decades. We will see it in our lifetimes if we seize the moment now.
