ETHEREUM SURVIVES THE SEC.

Today we’re happy to announce a major win for Ethereum developers, technology providers, and industry participants: the Enforcement Division of the SEC has notified us that it is closing its investigation into Ethereum 2.0.

This means that the SEC will not bring charges alleging that sales of ETH are securities transactions.

@TD_Canada It's absolutely unacceptable to make things so difficult for such a simple request. He's her spouse and beneficiary and she's dead. It doesn't make any sense that he's being given the runaround.

@TD_Canada Refused to let my elderly father close his late wife's chequing account. I'd made an inquiry and made sure he had all relevant paperwork. They kept him there for over an hour, for an account with under $1000, and still didn't get it done. Unacceptable.

@TD_Canada Make it make sense. Why does he have to arrange for 2 working people to accompany him to close an account with a credit card he fully paid off and less then $1000 in it.

@TD_Canada For a low value account. Why are they giving such runaround to a widower who simply wants to close a chequing account. A simple errand I was told would only take 10 minutes.

@TD_Canada I went to the branch in person to see what dad would need. I was told mom's death certificate, ID, marriage certificate etc. He brought everything. They kept him for an hour. Even though her will leaves everything to him they said he'd need to bring in 2 guarantors.
