This might be my favorite announcement we’ve shared at Voltage. The reason is personal. 🔥

In a previous business, I worked closely with team members around the world. Over time, they became friends. We knew their families through stories and photos. We saw pictures of spouses and kids, celebrated milestones, and learned about one another’s cultures.

That’s one of the things I love most about working with a global team. You get to see how people live, what they value, and who they’re working so hard for.

When I think about cross-border payments, I think about those people.

Someone did the work. They earned the money. How much of it will actually reach them? How long will they wait to use it?

Fees and delays have consequences in someone’s daily life. Helping people keep more of what they earn and access it more easily is a meaningful way to add value to the world.

That’s why I’m excited about @HiglobeOfficial new Lightning payment option, powered by @voltage_cloud . Their team is making it easier for global professionals to receive payments from the U.S., with our infrastructure working behind the scenes.

And that’s why Bitcoin continues to excite me. We can build payment systems that serve people better, across borders, with less of their hard-earned money lost along the way.
