Feeding community dogs is not a crime. Mob violence is.

The alleged assault on an animal caregiver in Sun City Heights, Rohtak, is deeply disturbing. No woman or citizen should face intimidation, injuries, or property damage for showing compassion to animals protected under law.

We stand with the caregiver and demand a fair investigation, preservation of evidence, and strict action against all those responsible.

Compassion cannot be punished.

I would like to request the #Oxford people to kindly consult #परमविदुषी ji before adding new words to their #dictionary.

As far as I understand, Rule 16 of the ABC Rules applies to rabies-suspected dogs- dogs that have actually bitten someone. Such dogs can be picked up, kept under 10-day observation at an ABC centre under the advice of a qualified veterinary doctor.

If there are no signs of rabies, the dog must be handed back to the NGO and released.

But some people think that any dog that bites must automatically be “#aggressive”.
A dog can bite for a hundred reasons.

Anyway -
for those who treat animal welfare as a business, definitions can always be twisted to suit their #convenience 🤞

A community dog was found dead after allegedly falling from the 15th floor. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻, while authorities launched an investigation and registered an FIR under Sections 289 and 429 IPC. The dog was reportedly a familiar part of the society and had recently given birth to seven puppies.

When an animal falls from a 10th or 15th floor, the question is simple: accident or cruelty? That is exactly why fair, transparent, and time-bound investigations are essential.

Animals cannot record evidence, file complaints, or speak for themselves. Their only hope is that authorities take such cases seriously and ensure accountability wherever cruelty is proven.

This is no longer an isolated act of cruelty. Residents and animal caregivers allege a disturbing pattern of repeated violence against community animals inside Ajnara Homes. Each new death raises serious concerns that the perpetrator responsible may still be active.

⚠️ January 23 – Dog found murdered
⚠️ Puppy later found beheaded
⚠️ Another dog now found dead
⚠️ Multiple incidents reported from the same locality

Every dead animal is evidence.

Every ignored complaint allows the violence to continue.

Animal cruelty is not a minor issue. Experts worldwide recognize severe and repeated cruelty to animals as a potential warning sign that deserves urgent investigation.

⚖️ We demand:

✅ Immediate FIR and criminal investigation
✅ Collection and preservation of all evidence
✅ CCTV review of all entry, exit and common areas
✅ Identification and questioning of suspects
✅ Protection of remaining community dogs and puppies
✅ Strict action under PCA Act, 1960 and applicable BNS provisions

Residents are asking:

❓ Who is killing these animals?
❓ Why are deaths repeatedly occurring in the same area?
❓ Have all CCTV cameras been examined?
❓ How many more animals must die before action is taken?
