Chief Minister Vijay Thalapathy held a meeting with all the state's IPS and IAS officers.

Cautioning the meeting, the Chief Minister said, "If a complainant comes to you, resolve their problem immediately."

If the complainant comes back to me saying their problem hasn't been resolved, that officer will be suspended.

A Chief Minister should be like Vijay Thalapathy, making one decision after another in favor of the public.

In his speech today at a public meeting in Karur, Chief Minister Vijay strongly declared that if anyone, whosoever it may be, asks for a bribe, people should firmly refuse it, assuring them that they have the full support of the Chief Minister of the state on their side.

I see this speech going viral.

As I have been saying, Chief Minister Vijay’s intention to eliminate corruption in Tamil Nadu seems genuine.

With this direct encouragement and assurance he is providing to the public, there is definitely a strong possibility of eliminating corruption in the years to come.

The public and the state need to work together on this.

A corruption free society will be a prosperous society.

कई लोग बारिश में भीगते हुए परेशान होते हैं और गुस्सा भी जाहिर करते हैं,

लेकिन इस पूरी स्थिति में पुलिसकर्मियों को दोष देना भी सही नहीं है,

वे अपनी मर्जी से सड़क नहीं रोकते, बल्कि उन्हें जो आदेश मिलता है,

उसी के अनुसार अपनी ड्यूटी निभानी पड़ती है। उनकी भी मजबूरी होती है कि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था बनाए रखें।

Parked my car at Colaba (in the lane next to Cafe Mondegar). A bunch of guys with pay and park placards promptly came and said the parking charges are Rs. 150/- per hour. I asked them to show the rate card and their IDs and they didn’t have any of these to show. Later when I came back after 2 hours, they said just pay us Rs. 100/- in total for 2 hours. I asked them why so much variation between the rates? They said they have to pay more monthly charges (to whom is anyone’s guess).

No ID cards, no official rate cards. Just parking ticket machines. Pls look into this @MumbaiPolice @MTPHereToHelp @mybmc @RoadsOfMumbai

Driving on the wrong side of the road is dangerous, illegal, and something every citizen is fined for. So why is it acceptable when a VIP convoy does it?

Today in Delhi, a VIP convoy most likely a Chief Minister’s convoy with an MG Gloster bearing DL 0001 was driving in the wrong lane, forcing traffic to stop just so the convoy could pass.

If ordinary people drove like this, they’d be slapped with hefty challans. Why should those in power be exempt? Traffic rules exist for everyone’s safety, not just for the public.

If this was indeed a Chief Minister’s convoy, it’s a shameful example to set! 😌
