@berniewestacott I’d plan a curriculum for Year 1 based on teaching counting, reading, social skills, health education, outdoor skills etc.
Whole class learning of maths at a cracking pace is not going to produce well-rounded, sociable, creative, inventive adults. Invest time in 5 year olds.
