I honestly don't get how it's not considered insanely anti-Semitic to have the very worst individuals , irrespective of actual faith - folks who are violent and obnoxious or who kill children - be lauded as the representatives of Judaism because they hold an Israeli passport.

There's literally a story about this in the Bible, told by a Palestinian - Jesus told us of a man who was injured, but even a priest didn't stop to help him. But then, a Samaritan did, bandaged his wounds, etc.

You cannot condemn your enemy for doing what YOU should have done!

Even if we ONLY heard of the plight of the children of Gaza because "America's enemy" told us about it - when you know it is true, as you do, you MUST, as a good person, as a Christian, have more compassion for the people being butchered than hatred for the truth-tellers.

@hecubian_devil Rent-control doesn't directly cost money, but it has a cost in the market - but so does everything the government does, including when the government leaves people homeless or paying most of their income in rent.

Rent control "works" because it literally accomplished its goal.

@hecubian_devil Everybody who claims to have taken Econ 101 says they learned that "rent control doesn't work" but what Econ 101 teaches is actually that it's not Pareto efficient.

That doesn't carry any implication as to whether it works or is worth the monetary cost.
