Despite working through the pandemic, refuse & cleansing workers in @Merton_Council have only been offered a 1.5% pay increase, an effective pay cut when inflation is considered. We are paid below the London Living Wage with widespread use of zero-hours contracts.

Victory at Bexley! A deal has been reached for
- change in local management
- full sick pay
- the reinstatement of members spuriously sacked
- improvement on health and safety
- bank holiday backpay sorted out
- a substantial pay rise of between £1.50 and 90p an hour.
