@GinieSigonney Hi Virginie. The 7500km route is a Great Circle (GC). GCs always appear as curves on a flat map such as a Mercator projection and always tend towards the nearest pole. The straight line doesn't account for the Earth's curvature but seems shorter. Counter intuitive but it works.

Great photos which also usher in our evolution into a spacefaring race. Before, space missions included career astronauts. Now we have a cross section demographic for future crews and can realistically talk about colonising space. Well done #Inspiration4. We all fly with you.
