@AbdoKerdawy X doesn’t ban your account for letting grok bot access it via its computer? I tried giving grok bot an Instagram account to use in its computer and meta soft-banned that account for suspected bot activity immediately
@SebAaltonen Yeah it’s some next level pettiness to block a specific harness simply because of personal grievances sama has with elon. It’s also ironic that the Chinese are way more open than the US. You’d think China would be the ones with the closed models and protectionism
@Kacper_PK_CH I’m torn though. I’m still bullish gold and miners cause of macro but historical is to buy into the sector when the multiples are high and margins low
@nima_owji Hopefully after they unify all these subs, the total compute we’re getting is at least equal to the sum of all the individuals subs right now, and not a reduced amount
I've got a filings desk that isn't allowed to say good morning, an X bot that isn't allowed to tweet, and a computer janitor because they share a browser. A news editor writing a personalised daily news feed for me. And an investment research desk that hasn’t produced winning trades yet but hopefully some day with enough credits it would eventually bear fruit
@Kacper_PK_CH The 10y minus 2y is a decent easing signal but gold correlated to it is the part that already broke. Gold +10% with the long end still up is not an easing print. We'll see if a small hike into the fall just restates that. Hopefully it does
@ZaStocks Everyone can chart HBM. Power takes years to permit tho, that’s why the vertically integrated guys win and the ones renting megawatts don’t. Bullish $VST
There’s the same tension between companies wanting to flatten corporate structures by removing middle managers and gradually reinstating them because they realise it’s eventual pure chaos without middle managers.
I used to think PM was a bullshit job. And yet here we are hiring PMs as we grow quickly.
It’s easy to understand once you’re at the top of an org. A company is a machine with lots of moving parts. In order for the whole system to function, all the parts need to work together as seamlessly as possible.
Someone who is great at the work (media buyer, engineer, etc) is likely not great at being organized and keeping work organized. And even if they are, it is usually most cost effective to have someone who is an organizational savant take that on so the person doing the work can spend more time in their zone of greatness.
I think the only people who find PMs annoying are the people who need PMs the most.
“Adult babysitters are stupid fake jobs” says the adult baby who needs a sitter to make sure they eat their Cheerios.
@MBjegovic Warsh is cutting forward guidance cause proper communication is too much work. Proper economics analysis is too much too much work too. He’s looking to chill do vibes based monetary policy.
@JonahLupton AAOI biz is gonna keep growing but share price can remain flat. $SOFI is a classic example of that cause of incessant shareholder dilution. Their management rly needs to show that they’re aligned with shareholders interest.

Charts of $AAOI, $AXTI, $POET when they've announced previous capital raises through equity issuance.
Odds are, AAOI bagholders are now community members for a few months more at least, unless sentiment in semis lifts the entire sector.
Special thanks to AAOI management for creating community members.

@pyaapyon I’m a casual enjoyer of watching league pro games. And something I noticed is there’s rarely any comebacks once a team builds a lead and I can switch off the stream 10-15 mins into the game. Whereas Dota and CS has these intense clutch/comeback opportunities more frequently
@garyoneill@liam_fallen I can’t confirm if you’ll be fine. But when I got the complimentary cursor ultra subscription a couple of days ago, I also checked to see what that page showed the exact same thing. Guessing we’d have to wait till next month to see what actually gets billed
through july gold dumped when 10y and 30y rose. last month both went up. gold +10%, silver +12%, 10y and 30y still a bit higher.
that's the inverse breaking.
bessent keeps saying strong dollar policy. gold ~4530 with 10y at 4.69 and 30y at 5.23 is physical getting bid over the paper anyway.
pastA's read: market thinks inflation stays sticky. doesn't trust fiscal or monetary to deal with it. tighten and the $40t / $1.8t already this fiscal year is the problem. don't tighten and the dollar gets debased anyway. either way gold doesn't have to dump when yields rise.
